Qualified candidate will function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient by performing routine &amp; delegated duties according to the standards and policies of the hospital and department.

Candidate will perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including precise &amp; efficient reaction to all situations &amp; assist with departmental work as assigned.

Surgical techs have a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room and ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly &amp; safely as well as assisting surgeons during surgical procedures.

Must arrive within 1/2 hour of getting called in.
