 Multi-Modality Technologist Full Time Days Position Summary 


 Performs a variety of radiological procedures, including vascular, invasive, interventional examinations and computerized tomographic procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment. Ability to perform duties of ARRT Technologist when not performing CT. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. 


 SPECIAL SKILLS: Good verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.

 Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.

 Performs direct and indirect functions in the Cardiac Cath Lab.  Assists all Physicians/staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. The Special Procedures Technologist working in the Cardiac Cath lab demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of adults and adult-geriatric patients.  Performs a variety of radiological procedures, including vascular, invasive, interventional examinations and computerized tomographic procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment. Ability to perform duties of ARRT Technologist when not performing CT.

 SUPERVISES: May perform functional supervision over cross-training Radiology Technologists and/or students. 


   


 THE CT TECHNOLOGIST FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE. 


 MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
