Verified Offers Now Available for Nurses Week 2026

National Nurses Week 2026 runs Wednesday, May 6 through Tuesday, May 12, 2026. This list is updated as of April 29, 2026 with the latest brand announcements — including deals that carry over from 2025, ones with new dates or items, brands that are NEW for 2026, and a few that have not yet confirmed for 2026.

What’s Different from 2025

The biggest year-over-year shifts:

• Chipotle DOUBLED its giveaway: 200,000 burrito e-cards (100k healthcare + 100k teachers, $2M total) — up from 100k healthcare-only in 2025. Entries open April 28–May 12; drawing May 13; winners have 48 hours to verify ID.
• Shake Shack went bigger: FREE ShackBurger OR VeggieShack with any $10+ in-Shack order, May 4–12, 2026 — a much better deal than 2025’s free Classic/LTO shake-with-purchase.
• Insomnia Cookies upgraded to a freebie: Free classic cookie with nurse ID May 6–12 (no purchase required), instead of the 2025 Buy-One-Get-One.
• Sonny’s BBQ widened the menu: Free BBQ Sandwich now in pork, chicken OR turkey (was pork only); dates May 4–6, 2026. Must register for Sonny’s Rewards and verify nurse status by April 30 at 4 PM ET.
• BAYADA expanded its giveaway: 100 winners of $250 shopping sprees in 2026, up from 50 in 2025; plus a free 1.0 ANCC contact-hour CE course (May 1–July 31).
• New brands added for 2026: Biggby Coffee, Care + Wear, Adidas, Levi’s, New Balance, Reebok (now confirmed at 30%+ via ID.me), Lululemon, Brooks, Stanley, Saucony, Verena Street Coffee — most via ID.me, GovX or SheerID verification.
• MLB lineup shuffled significantly: Phillies moved to May 6 vs. Athletics with an insulated lunch bag (was May 12 vs. Cardinals with a scrub top). Mariners now have TWO games (May 5 + May 6) with a free Mariners Nurse Appreciation Jersey, instead of a single May 13 quilted quarter-zip game. Twins moved to May 13 with a lunch cooler. Royals moved to May 8 vs. Tigers with a Royals Nurses Hat. Diamondbacks now host the Pirates with a D-backs Tee. Padres and Dodgers moved their nurse nights to September, so they’re no longer Nurses Week events.
• Cinnabon now confirmed for 2026: Free Classic Roll, MiniBon, or 4-count BonBites with valid healthcare ID at participating locations May 6–12 — last year this was only third-party-listed.
• Still unconfirmed corporately for 2026: Starbucks, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Tijuana Flats, Tiff’s Treats, Ruby Tuesday, HTeaO, Happy Joe’s, Original ChopShop, and the Yankees Healthcare Appreciation series. Worth asking locally as the week starts.

Free Food for Nurses During Nurses Week 2026

• Applebee’s Grill & Bar: From April 28 through May 10, 2026, nurses (and teachers) get a free appetizer up to a $12 value with the purchase of any adult entrée at participating Flynn Group–owned Applebee’s locations. Must show a valid work ID; dine-in only. Flynn Group operates ~450 Applebee’s across 24 states — call to confirm participation.
• Aroma Joe’s: Free 24-oz drink with a valid healthcare ID. Note the 2026 date is May 7 (the 2025 promo was May 6).
• Auntie Anne’s: Free pretzel for frontline workers / nurses at participating locations during Nurses Week (typically through Auntie Anne’s Rewards in the app). Confirm with your local store.
• Biggby Coffee — NEW for 2026: Nurses with a valid ID can grab any 16-oz beverage for $1.99, May 6–12, 2026.
• Bubbakoo’s Burritos: Discount on entire in-store purchase for nurses during National Nurses Week (specifics vary by location, similar to the 20% off / May 6–12 setup in 2025).
• Buffalo Wild Wings: Nurses get 20% off all orders May 6–12, 2026 (dine-in, takeout, or call-in). Same as 2025.
• Chick-fil-A: Offers vary by franchise — many participating locations are giving nurses a free Original or Spicy Chicken Sandwich on May 6 with a valid nurse ID, while others are running a full week of treats (free coffee, milkshakes, waffle fries, drinks, biscuits, nuggets) for nurses who verify in the Chick-fil-A One App via ID.me. Ask your local Chick-fil-A or check their Facebook/Instagram.
• Chipotle — DOUBLED for 2026: The 2026 Chipotle Healthcare Professional and Teacher Sweepstakes runs April 28, 2026 (12:01 a.m. PT) through May 12, 2026 (11:59 p.m. PT). Up to 200,000 burrito e-cards will be awarded — 100,000 for healthcare professionals and 100,000 for teachers — totaling $2 million in free Chipotle. Drawing on May 13; winners have 48 hours to verify their ID. Each e-card is good for one free regular menu entrée (burrito, bowl, three tacos, salad or quesadilla), redeemable digitally.
• Cinnabon — CONFIRMED for 2026: Free Classic Roll, MiniBon, or 4-count BonBites at participating Cinnabon bakeries May 6–12, 2026, with valid healthcare ID. Confirm with your local bakery first.
• Dunkin’: Free medium hot or iced coffee, no purchase necessary, on Tuesday, May 6, 2026 at participating locations. Same as 2025.
• Greene Turtle: Free meal valued up to $15 with a valid work ID, dine-in on May 6, 2026. Same as 2025.
• Grimaldi’s Pizzeria: 15% off all orders at any Grimaldi’s location with a valid ID, May 4–8, 2026 (the 2025 deal was 25% off May 5–9, so the discount is smaller this year).
• Honeygrow: Nominate a nursing unit to win one of ten $250 catering gift cards. Same setup as 2025.
• HTeaO — UNCONFIRMED: BOGO tea was the 2025 deal — not yet officially confirmed for 2026. Watch its social channels.
• Happy Joe’s — UNCONFIRMED: 20% off at participating locations May 6–12 was the 2025 deal — not yet confirmed for 2026.
• Insomnia Cookies — UPGRADED for 2026: FREE classic cookie (no purchase necessary) for nurses with valid ID, May 6–12, 2026, in-store only. Plus an entry into a sweepstakes where five nurses or teachers will win a $250 cookie catering package for their team. Big upgrade from 2025’s BOGO classic cookie deal.
• Krispy Kreme: Free doughnuts for nurses and healthcare workers during Nurses Week at participating locations. Confirm with your local Krispy Kreme.
• Logan’s Roadhouse: Approximately 20% off (similar to Buffalo Wild Wings) for nurses with valid ID during Nurses Week 2026, dine-in only.
• McAlister’s Deli: Free Big Tea (no purchase necessary, limit one per person) at participating locations from May 6–12, 2026 with badge or ID. Same as 2025.
• McDonald’s — UNCONFIRMED: Participation continues to be by individual franchise. No corporate program announced for 2026 yet — local restaurants in 2025 offered things like free breakfast May 12 or free drinks all week. Check with your local store.
• MOD Pizza: BOGO MOD-size pizza or salad in-store for nurses (and teachers) during Nurses & Teachers Appreciation Week, typical dates May 6–9, 2026.
• Mountain Mike’s Pizza: Historically 15% off all pizzas with a code or free 1-topping pizzas on specific days at participating locations during Nurses Week. 2026 details typically posted closer to the week.
• Noodles & Company: Catering discount (15% off catering orders of $150+) historically — check the Noodles site for the official 2026 promo as the week starts.
• Original ChopShop — UNCONFIRMED: 10% off dine-in/to-go was the 2025 deal — not yet officially confirmed for 2026.
• Potbelly: Free cookie or regular-sized fountain drink with the purchase of any entrée, in-store, May 4–12, 2026 (the 2025 dates were May 5–11).
• Ruby Tuesday — UNCONFIRMED: Free Garden Bar add-on with promo code was the 2025 offer; no corporate 2026 announcement yet.
• Scooter’s Coffee: Free drink for nurses and healthcare workers with a valid ID. The 2026 date varies by region — historically tied to May 6, but some markets are running May 3.
• Shake Shack — UPGRADED for 2026: FREE ShackBurger OR VeggieShack with any $10+ order placed and fulfilled in-Shack with a team member, May 4–12, 2026, at participating locations (excluding airports, stadiums, arenas, travel plazas and museums). Must show a valid work badge from a school or hospital. Limit one free burger per order; cart must include the ShackBurger/VeggieShack plus one additional menu item to qualify. Replaces 2025’s free Classic/LTO shake offer.
• Shipley Do-Nuts: Free half-dozen glazed Do-Nuts for loyalty members, no purchase necessary. Expected to repeat in 2026; confirm dates with your local shop.
• Smoothie King: 20% off in-store orders for nurses with badge at participating locations, May 6–8, 2026. Same as 2025.
• Sonny’s BBQ — EXPANDED for 2026: Free BBQ Sandwich — pork, chicken OR turkey on garlic bread or a bun, with a Sidekick and a drink — Monday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Big improvement vs. 2025, which was pork only and ran May 5–7. Nurses must register for Sonny’s Rewards and verify nurse status by April 30 at 4 PM ET. Limit one sandwich per check, dine-in or pickup. Available at ~89 locations across AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC and SC. Random Acts of BBQ nominations also return.
• Starbucks — UNCONFIRMED: Same caveat as 2025 — no corporate Nurses Week program. Some individual stores hand out free coffee; many do not. Doesn’t hurt to ask.
• TGI Fridays: Free menu item (no purchase necessary) for nurses on National Nurses Day, May 6, 2026 at participating locations. The 2025 menu choices included a cheeseburger with fries, crispy chicken fingers with fries and coleslaw, grilled chicken Caesar salad, half-rack of ribs, or half-portion Cajun chicken & shrimp pasta — similar this year.
• Tiff’s Treats — UNCONFIRMED: 15% off cookie orders with a code was the 2025 promo — not yet confirmed for 2026.
• Tijuana Flats — UNCONFIRMED: Discount on dine-in/carryout (was 20% off with code in 2025) — no 2026 corporate announcement yet.
• Tim Hortons — UNCONFIRMED: BOGO doughnut / Buy 12 Get 6 doughnuts at participating locations was the 2025 deal — not yet confirmed for 2026.

Discounts for Nurses During Nurses Week 2026

• Adidas — NEW for 2026: 30% off online for verified nurses through ID.me — also valid in-store and at factory outlets.
• Brooks — NEW for 2026: 25% off eligible items via the Community Heroes Ambassador Program after free ID.me verification.
• Crocs: 25% off full-priced styles for healthcare professionals during Nurses Week (plus the year-round 15% verified discount). Same as 2025.
• Levi’s — NEW for 2026: 10% off online after verifying as a licensed medical professional via ID.me.

• Care + Wear — EXPANDED for 2026: Buy 3, Get 1 Free from May 6–12, 2026, no coupon required. The 2025 page was a placeholder; this year’s offer is concrete.
• Cyty Scrubs: 20% off all scrubs during National Nurses Week (was 2025’s offer; check social channels for 2026 confirmation).
• Dickies Medical: 20% off select scrub pants, tops, sets, jackets and lab coats from May 6–12, 2026. Same as 2025.
• FIGS: 20% off sitewide for Nurses Week 2026, with up to 25% off scrub sets specifically. Slightly better on sets than the flat 20% in 2025.

Sports Teams Showing Their Appreciation in 2026

Several major league teams host Nurse / Healthcare Appreciation events around May 6–12, 2026. These typically include a discounted ticket package with an exclusive themed giveaway and on-field recognition. Note: San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers, both on the 2025 list, have moved their nurse appreciation games to September 2026.

• Arizona Diamondbacks: Nurse Appreciation Night on May 6, 2026 vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates. Discount tickets start at $31.95 and include an exclusive D-backs Tee. One nominated nurse throws the first pitch and another sings the National Anthem. (In 2025 it was vs. the Mets, with a hat.)
• Kansas City Royals: Nurses Weekend kicks off Friday, May 8, 2026 with the Royals vs. the Detroit Tigers. Theme-ticket purchasers get a Royals Nurses Hat (pickup window includes May 9 and May 10 games). Different opponent and giveaway from 2025 (Red Sox / crossbody bag).
• Minnesota Twins: Nurses Night moves to Wednesday, May 13, 2026 with a Twins lunch cooler giveaway as part of the special-event ticket package. Tickets start at $23.75. Voting for the nurse who throws the first pitch / raises the flag closes 4/12/26. (2025 was on May 6 with a tumbler.)
• New York Yankees — UNCONFIRMED: The Yankees ran a Healthcare Appreciation series May 2–7, 2025 with a tumbler/scrub + a $15 F&B voucher. As of late April 2026, no equivalent series has been formally announced for Nurses Week 2026 — historical references suggest a May 5–7 window.
• Philadelphia Phillies — DATE & GIFT CHANGED: Nurses Night is now Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:40 p.m. when the Phillies host the Athletics. The first 3,500 special-ticket buyers receive a voucher for an exclusive insulated lunch bag (redeemable at the Theme Night Kiosk behind section 210 before the end of the 3rd inning). In 2025 the game was May 12 vs. the Cardinals with a Phillies scrub top — both date and item changed.
• Pittsburgh Pirates — UNCONFIRMED: The Pirates ran a Healthcare Appreciation series May 9–11, 2025 vs. the Braves with a scrub-top-themed lunch box. A 2026 May series has not been announced — the Pirates are on the road, visiting the Diamondbacks for Nurse Night on May 6 instead.
• Seattle Mariners — EXPANDED for 2026: Two Nurse Appreciation games this year: Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 6:40 p.m. and Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 1:10 p.m., both vs. the Atlanta Braves. The May 5 special-ticket package starts at $34.47 and includes a free teal Mariners-themed Nurse Appreciation Jersey. Deadline to purchase is Monday, May 4 at 5 p.m. One nurse throws the first pitch, another catches. (2025 was a single May 13 game vs. the Yankees with a quilted quarter-zip — Nurses Week timing is much better this year.)

No longer Nurses Week events for 2026:

• San Diego Padres — Nurse Appreciation moved to September 4, 2026 vs. the Tigers.
• Los Angeles Dodgers — Nurses Night moved to September 9, 2026 vs. the Reds.
• Los Angeles Angels — A 2026 May Healthcare Appreciation Night has not been re-announced; their 2025 game was on May 10. Check the team site closer to game time.

Other major league teams also host nurse appreciation nights throughout the season, but this list is limited to those falling during or right next to National Nurses Week 2026 (May 6–12).

How to Get Freebies and Deals for Nurses Week 2026

Most places will ask to see your employee ID card to get free offers in person, so be sure to have it handy. You may also need to be a loyalty program member or download an app to access certain offers. When redeeming online offers, many companies use the verification services ID.me or SheerID to validate credentials. These sites will ask you to upload your nursing license and/or proof of employment to validate your status and claim your nurse discounts.

Remember to check out local shops, too. Many neighborhood restaurants and stores offer nurses discounts or freebies locally, which may not be widely publicized. Follow your favorites on social media to be in the know.
