Registered Nurse Intensive Care Fellowship Program: * Surgical Intensive Care * Cardiovascular Intensive Care, * Neuro Intensive Care Deadline to submit online application is, Friday April 26th, 2024 . Interviews will be conducted starting on April 1st,- May 30th, 2024. * Fellowship Start Date: July 8th 2024 Eligibility for application: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree. Minimum two-three (2-3) years of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required. Must have current BLS and ACLS certification. Night Shift Only. DESCRIPTION The Specialty ICU Registered Nurse Fellowship Program is a comprehensive orientation program that transitions the novice nurse to the role of an advanced beginner in a collaborative learning environment. Developed by academic and clinical nursing experts. The UMH ICU Registered Nurse Fellowship Program is an ICU competency based program that includes evidence based lectures, online learning modules, human patient simulation and an outstanding preceptorship program. Each nurse is mentored throughout the program by supportive staff, leaders and academic experts. Internal Applicants must apply online on/or before Friday April 24th, 2024. (You will not be interviewed without application). If selected for an interview, (applicable to Internal candidates), please follow the instructions below: Required documents to bring to the interview are to be placed in a file folder (not envelope) and labeled with your name (Last Name, First Name) to include: * Two (2) application documents * Cover letter and Résumé * Two (2) professional letters of recommendations * Copy of Nursing Degree * Copy of Florida Nursing License * Copy of Current BLS and ACLS certifications Additional application documents will need to be placed in a file folder (not envelope) and labeled with your name (Last Name, First Name). Candidates who are accepted into any ICU Registered Nurse Fellowship Program are required to sign a fulltime three (3) year contractual agreement with the University of Miami Hospital (UMH).
