How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients following established protocols and guidelines.

• Implement and monitor individualized care plans for laboring patients, recording and communicating any changes in condition.

• Serve as the primary coordinator for all healthcare disciplines involved in high-risk deliveries.

• Execute physician and nursing orders and coordinate with the healthcare team for discharge planning and follow-up care.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Must have minimum 1-2 years of prior Labor and Delivery experience
