Staff Nurse - Critical Care Float -Full Time Nights

Location New York, New York Shift: Night Flex (United States of America) Description: Float Pool Nurses Make it Possible Staff Nurse - RN - Critical Care Float - Full time - Nights At New York-Presbyterian, nurses bring compassion, talent and an unwavering commitment to patient care. As a float pool nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple world-renowned specialties to deliver hope and healing to patients from around the world in some of our most high acuity areas. This role supports the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Critical Care inpatient units including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units and more. Nurses in this dynamic role support the state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns by recovering post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU and by playing a critical role in maternal emergency response. You'll have the freedom to explore new specialties and experiences in your nursing career and gain exposure to a broad range of challenges on our highly specialized units. Preferred Criteria Minimum two years' experience as a Critical Care RN, SDU experience and Cardiac Surgical experience Experience with caring for Post-Cesarean Section patients/ Obstetrical emergencies Required Criteria Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Current NYS RN licensure BCLS and ACLS certification * Proven experience to work autonomously in high pressure situations Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
