JOB SUMMARY To provide nursing care to patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly as demonstrated by the nursing process. Data collected will be pertinent to the age and developmental level of the patient. The Emergency Department RN is accountable for the provision of quality patient care. The Emergency#RN utilizes the nursing process to provide quality care to department patients. Accepts responsibility for maintaining and improving professional skills essential to the area of clinical practice. Capable of functioning effectively under stressful situations.
