WCCH ER is a 14 bed ER with a Fast Track area to accommodate up to 8 patients. We are Certified as a Stroke Ready Facility with The Joint Commission. The ER nurse patient ratio is 1:4. The ER is staffed with Nurse Techs, Monitor Techs, and RNs.

How you'll contribute
A Nursing - Coordinator who excels in this role:
Oversee the activities of the ER and assigned staff during scheduled shifts
Provide patient care.
Enhance department workflow.
Provide leadership at the point of care.
Ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to patient and family needs.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license or compact licensure
Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required at hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
Three to five years' experience as a staff nurse within ER department.
CEN preferred
Handle with care within one year of date of hire.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Knowledge of MedHost electronic health records strongly preferred.
