How you'll contribute 

An Emergency Room RN who excels in this role:

  • Performs rapid and accurate patient assessments to identify emergent care needs 
  • Initiates and implements appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition
  • Administers medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards 
  • Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to treatment 
  • Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate timely patient care 
  • Provides education and support to patients and families 
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients 
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record

 What we're looking for 

Applicants should have a current New Mexico or Compact State RN license and possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) preferred 
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
