Assistant Nurse Manager

What We Offer:

• Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager, RN 
• Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Full- Time, Variable Shifts
• Department: - IMU/ICU
• Location: Kernersville Medical Center – Kernersville, NC

 

What We're Looking For:

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.

 

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a 20-bed IMU/ICU unit, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role provides leadership to nursing staff, manages staffing and resources, supports professional development, and drives performance improvement initiatives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
