Job Description ECU Health About The Outer Banks Hospital The Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Its campus includes four ORs, a medical/surgical unit, a labor & delivery suite with a dedicated caesarian section OR, a full rehabilitation therapy center, cancer treatment and radiation therapy center, and a 24-hour emergency department. OBH is fully accredited, provides high quality care in a compassionate environment to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and has been nationally recognized for outstanding patient care. Position Summary The Supervisor will be responsible for day to day supervision and coordination of service provision for a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include daily monitoring of process effectiveness and outcomes, service delivery, and support of care management and clinical services to patients and families. The Supervisor will also participate in provision of care and service delivery a portion of the time and assist with overall operations of the division/department. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Social Work Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the VH required insurance limits. 2-3 years related experience Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Other Information This is a full-time position with benefits. Shift: Days with some on-call coverage for Care Management needs.
