Job Summary and Qualifications 

The Inpatient Rehab Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for the rehab patient.

  • You will perform a complete and accurate nursing assessment.
  • You will plan comprehensive nursing care for the rehab patient according to written hospital standards and physician orders.
  • You will perform and legibly document nursing care to the rehab patient in compliance with written physician orders.
  • You will evaluate patient care outcomes in an appropriate and timely manner.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience as a staff nurse: Required 

 

Education:

  • Associate Degree, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)

 

License/Certification: 

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas; If the compact license, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire: Required
  • Current certification from the American Heart Association as a BLS Health Care provider: Required
  • Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN): Preferred
