Manager Emergency Dept - FT Night Shift

Job Description Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The Clinical Nurse Manager assists the Unit Director with clinical, financial, and personnel management of the unit. By utilizing established principles of delegation, supervision and independent judgement. * Requires current unrestricted license to practice as a Registerd Nurse in the state of North Carolina; BSN preferred * One to three years previous supervisory experience highly preferred; three to five years previous clinical nursing experience in applicable specialty area required. * BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required * NVCI (Non-violent Crisis Intervention certification)and NIHSS certification are required.
