Nursing Supervisor - Night Shift- Rehab Level of Care

Nurse Supervisor-Rehab. Level of Care: 8-hr. and 12-hr shifts on night-shift (11p.m - 7:30 a.m.) with every other weekend 7p.m. - 7:30a.m. and holidays Responsibilities for the Nurse Supervisor include: * Supervises nursing staff on 3rd shift * Coordinates or intervenes in medical/psychiatric emergencies, complex clinical issues or situations, and offers direct and indirect clinical support as needed * Monitors care of patients with wounds, anticoagulants, and seizures * Reports pertinent clinical information to the Chief Nursing Officer * Coordinates the admission process as needed * Makes rounds to all nursing units * Responsible for staffing scheduling * Activates fire and disaster plans and oversees emergencies * Works with Security to ensure safety of patients and staff * Complies with current hospital safety and infection control policies Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current Pennsylvania State license (RN) * Graduate of an accredited college or university, BSN or MSN preferred * Minimum of five years experience as a practicing RN * Management experience in a psychiatric setting and/or drug/alcohol facility * Ability to communicate well, both orally and written and establishes good rapport with staff and patients Eagleville Hospital, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, education, and prevention of substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and acute psychiatric disorders. The hospital also houses an older adult unit, which is short-term program for clients aged 55 years and older in need of a secure, therapeutic environment.
