This is a 15-bed unit providing intensive and acute care for critically ill adult patients. The multidisciplinary staff is highly collaborative and supportive, working together to achieve the best patient outcomes. The 8MB Flex Unit is an integral part of Harborview's ability to adjust level of care with the fluctuating daily census. The team that works in this space provides care based on the needs of the patient, which can be both intensive care and acute care in a given day. We are seeking experienced ICU RNs to join the awesome 8MB Flex Unit team. * Trauma Surgical ICU (24 bed unit) - there are no positions currently open but more could arise at any time. * Medical Cardiac ICU (17 bed unit) - there are no positions currently open but more could arise at any time. * Burn and Pediatric Trauma ICU - there are no positions currently open but more could arise at any time. * Neurosciences ICU (30 bed unit) - there are no positions currently open but more could arise at any time. * Critical Care Float Pool (may include STAT RN role). 90% FTE Nights position currently open. (please note that Critical Care Float Pool RNs may float among the ICUs, as well as to the ED, and to PACU, and also potentially to acute care and ICU border areas as needed). Requires current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Washington (or obtain by employment start date). Requires minimum one year ICU nursing experience (two+ years desirable).
