Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Pool - Night Shift


If you enjoy experiencing different hospital units and are looking to gain more critical care experience, come join Stamford Hospital's Critical Care Float Pool! The Critical Care Float Pool RNs are used as adjuncts throughout the ICU, IMCU and ED, to ensure each unit is adequately staffed to provide optimum nursing care to all patients. Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process and following all established standards of practice within State and Federal guidelines. Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff on assigned unit. Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role. Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested. Adhere to all Stamford Hospital's policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program. Provide safe and therapeutic care using the values inherent in our hospital culture. * Minimum of 2 years of active critical care experience required. Shift: 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM. 3 shifts per week. Rotational weekends and holidays required.
