Department - Emergency Department RN Compensation - hourly rate plus a bi-weekly bonus + lodging/travel/meal expenses Shift - Must be willing to work any shift, Day/Night/Swing. Must also be willing to work Holidays. Assignment Length - 13 weeks with the opportunity for extension Requirements: To be seriously considered for this role, you'll need to have: * Education - Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. * License/Certification: R.N. licensed in the State of Colorado, or compact license. BLS, ACLS, PALS * Experience - 2 years experience in acute nursing required. To be considered as a GVH Travel Nurse you must not be a GVH employee or live within 100 miles of Gunnison, Colorado. Responsibilities: As an ED Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Nurses function collaboratively with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice and are able to integrate ethical provision in all areas of practice Compensation: $31.07 - $43.50/hour DOE (bi-weekly bonus and lodging/meal/car reimbursement added to overall compensation) Physical Requirements Occasionally (0-33%) - Walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (0-20 lbs) Frequently (34 - 66%) - Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, fingering Continuously (37 -100%) See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance Shift - Varies Schedule - Three 12-hour shifts Status - Temp, FT There is no deadline to apply for this position; we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until a finalist is selected. Benefits Eligibility Medical Work Environment As a health care organization, we operate 24/7, 365 days per year. Candidates should be available to work a variety of shifts (days shift and night shift), weekends, and holidays. This position is full-time, with 12 hour shifts. This position can be fast paced at times, and slow paced at times, and candidates should be able to perform in both scenarios.
