City of Hope's growing national system includes its Los Angeles campus, a network of clinical care locations across Southern California, a new cancer center in Orange County, California, and treatment facilities in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix. our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today. $20,000 Sign on Bonus The successful candidate: * Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents the care of critically ill medical and surgical adult patients. * Provides acute care per protocols. * Assists with special procedures. * Directs the care delivered by patient care partners and other health care team members in the department. * Collaborates with physicians to evaluate patient readiness for change in level of care. * Cares for medical oncology, surgical oncology, and telemetry patients as necessary. * Recovers MAC local patients when PACU is not open. Qualifications Your qualifications should include: * 1-2 years of acute care experience * Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing, and licensed in the state of IL * Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
