Overview Sign on Bonuses * $10,000 with a 18 month work commitment (new graduates & external candidates) Limited Weekend Requirements * Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter * 0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts * 4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts * 10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts * 15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts Competitive Compensation * Pay range for this position is $32.08-$48.73. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. Stackable Pay Incentives * This position includes a night shift differential of $4, and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr. Comprehensive benefits package * BCBS Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with 5% match, and more. POSITION SUMMARY: The Specialty Track RN position is open to new grads and external experienced RNs. The specialty track prioritizes nurses for specialty positions and allows them general medical floor experience while preparing clinical skills for a seamless transition into their preferred specialty area. They are offered on-site individualized competency-based training to expedite their preparation to the desired specialty. The Specialty Track RN protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. This role assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times while operating in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BSN Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
