<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 19, 2026</li><li>Length: 9 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for an acute care cardiac cath lab, requiring 1+ years of experience and BLS certification.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Acute care cardiac cath lab setting with 2 procedure suites/labs</li><li>Average of 6 cases per day</li><li>Patient population includes coronary, IR, and vascular procedure cases; no EP cases performed at this facility</li><li>Techs scrub, monitor, and circulate cases</li><li>Uses Cerner and Merge systems, facility transitioning to Epic</li><li>Day shift schedule Monday-Thursday, 0630-1700</li><li>On-call required every 3rd weekend and 1-2 nights per week</li><li>Weeknight on-call Monday-Thursday 1700-0630, weekend on-call Friday-Sunday 0630-0630</li><li>30-minute call response time required</li><li>Occasional floating for 1:1 sitter assistance</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required</li><li>BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS preferred</li><li>License required if applicable</li><li>Scrub competency and general/pan x-ray knowledge required</li><li>Knowledge of IR and cardiac case procedures required</li><li>Cerner EMR experience preferred due to facility transition to Epic</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating cardiac, IR, and vascular cases</li><li>On-call coverage needed for cardiology and IR call schedules, including STEMI divert days</li><li>Facility experiences approximately 10 STEMI divert days per month due to cardiology coverage limitations</li><li>IR call coverage required approximately 10 days per month with only 1 IR provider available</li><li>Light blue scrubs provided by the hospital</li><li>Unit-specific orientation includes CBTs assigned on day 1, to be completed within the first week, along with an orientation binder checklist</li><li>All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility</li><li>Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration</li><li>Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate</li></ul>
