<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 27, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring sedation experience and on-call availability for a 13-week travel contract in Wisconsin.<h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Acute care hospital setting in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 suites/labs</li><li>Average of 6 cases per day including coronary, IR, and vascular procedures (no EP performed at this location)</li><li>RNs are responsible for sedation, monitoring, and circulating cases — scrubbing is not required</li><li>Cath Lab Techs handle scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating duties</li><li>Charting system is Cerner (transitioning to Epic); Merge is also used</li><li>Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)</li><li>On-call required Monday–Thursday from 5:00 PM–6:30 AM, and every 4th weekend (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM–6:30 AM)</li><li>30-minute call response time required</li><li>Holiday on-call coverage required as needed</li><li>Occasional floating to 1:1 sitter coverage</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WI RN license or compact RN license (must be active by start date)</li><li>Current ACLS and BLS certifications (both AHA)</li><li>Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required</li><li>Sedation experience and knowledge of reversal agents required</li><li>Experience with cardiac drips and cardiac medications required</li><li>2 professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years of relevant experience</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>RNs administer sedation, monitor patients, and circulate cases throughout procedures</li><li>The facility is on STEMI divert approximately 10 days per month due to cardiology coverage limitations, and IR call coverage is also limited to 10 days per month with a single IR provider</li><li>Hospital-provided scrubs in light blue</li><li>Orientation includes CBT modules to be completed within the first week, along with an orientation binder sign-off</li><li>Candidates who have previously worked for this health system as permanent staff must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date</li><li>Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a reduced pay rate</li></ul>
