      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of radiologic experience and BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications for a hospital Cath Lab assignment.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab assisting with both adult and congenital cardiac procedures</li><li>Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and ultrasonography</li><li>Day shift schedule of 5x8s, generally 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM</li><li>Weekend work required only when on call</li><li>On-call coverage is required</li><li>No floating within the hospital, but may float to an affiliate hospital if needed</li><li>Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience required</li><li>Scrubs provided; no prints allowed</li><li>Assists physicians during procedures and operates complex imaging equipment, including preparation and supply management under sterile conditions</li><li>Performs both circulating and scrub duties in the Cath Lab and may cross-train to related service areas such as EP or Hybrid OR</li><li>Responsible for patient care during exams, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting</li><li>Works both independently during on-call shifts and collaboratively with department staff</li><li>COVID-19 vaccination is required for employment; no exemptions allowed</li><li>Return staff must have a 6-month gap before being eligible to return as a traveler</li><li>RTO requests of up to 2 weeks are accepted if submitted at time of application</li><li>Local candidates are accepted at the same rate</li><li>Daily parking is available for a fee</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program</li><li>Current ARRT registration</li><li>Valid Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (license required if applicable)</li><li>BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification may be required per hospital policy</li><li>Minimum of 2 years' experience operating radiologic equipment in a cath lab or similar environment</li><li>Experience with pediatric patients is preferred</li><li>Prior experience with Epic charting system required</li><li>Pending OR license accepted if application has been submitted to the licensing board</li><li>Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required for consideration</li></ul>
