1:6-7 very frequently on night shift. House sup would leave early and charge ER nurse had phone and would just dump ER patients to the floor to empty the ER even though the floor was drowning. There was never a charge nurse on night shift. Very limited on supplies. Morale is low and everyone there is PRN or travel.

Wow - horrible hospital to work at. The administration was so fake. They would act like they were there for the nurses and then try and surprise us with 7 patients each. We refused to clock in when this happened and they folded and finally found a solution that they were too lazy to do initially (moving patients around). The manager I had to work with seemed awesome at first but eventually showed her true colors. My grandmother passed away and I had to call out. She gave me a hard time about this and tried to compound my sadness by making me feel bad and complained to me about how they were short. This hospital did not treat their nurses like humans. Also it was just incredibly unsafe. One of the night shift doctors was called for a declining patient and he told the nurse “let’s just wait till he codes” - all of our jaws dropped. I could share so many other unsafe stories but I won’t. I love Arizona though. Amazing state.
