<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 1, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery position in Florida requiring at least 1 year of L&amp;D experience and active NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work setting is a hospital Labor &amp; Delivery unit</li><li>13-week contract with 36 hours per week</li><li>12-hour night shifts</li><li>Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule</li><li>Mandatory float within the Women's service line; optional float to other areas of the house as a sitter or resource nurse</li><li>No on-call requirements</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active FL or compact RN license required</li><li>Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS</li><li>Minimum 1 year of L&amp;D experience required</li><li>Must successfully pass a proctored Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course administered by the unit prior to starting — candidates who do not pass cannot retest for 6 months</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates — no radius rule applies</li><li>Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler</li><li>Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination must be on file — booster is not currently required</li><li>A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be required as part of the hiring process</li></ul>
