High patient to nurse ratios. Constantly had someone looking over your shoulder and stirring problems up with patients. Heavy emphasis on scores. That being said there are good people working there and I renewed many contracts there. Just don't rock the boat and you will be fine.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts in Progressive Care Unit Stepdown 
• Provide intermediate care for patients who require monitoring between ICU and general medical floor levels 
• Monitor patients with cardiac conditions, post-surgical recovery, and other conditions requiring enhanced observation 
• Skills-based hiring approach utilized for candidate selection 
• National certification required for non-licensed professionals 
• Must maintain current nursing license and applicable certifications 
• Work with advanced monitoring equipment and telemetry systems 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
