      <h2>Job Description</h2>
      <p>American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of experience and multiple advanced certifications.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a hospital LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit caring for both mothers and newborns</li><li>Average of approximately 100 births per year; not a high volume unit</li><li>Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:2</li><li>12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week</li><li>Weekend work is determined by department needs</li><li>Floating is required to MedSurg, CNA, secretary, or helping hands roles as needed</li><li>Uses Centricity and Meditech Magic for medication administration and documentation</li><li>Must provide care for both mothers and newborns in a combined LDRP setting</li><li>Unit may experience high-acuity cases requiring independent decision-making skills</li><li>Navy blue scrubs are required</li><li>Department provides orientation upon arrival</li><li>Team members may be scheduled by the unit manager</li><li>Local candidates are accepted</li></ul>
          
      <h2>Requirements</h2>
      <ul><li>Active NC or compact RN license</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience</li><li>Certifications required: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and BCLS</li><li>Experience with fetal heart monitoring is required</li><li>Strong autonomy and experience with high acuity or high-risk cases</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted</li></ul>
