<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Aug 3, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery / Obstetrics night shift position in Colorado, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of perinatal nursing experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Labor &amp; Delivery / Obstetrics unit in a hospital setting</li><li>12-hour night shifts</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active, unrestricted CO RN license or compact RN license required (must be currently active or obtainable prior to start)</li><li>Minimum 1 year of perinatal RN experience required</li><li>Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred</li><li>Required certifications: BLS (may be obtained upon hire), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider), AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM), and STABLE Learner</li><li>Experience with Epic EMR preferred</li><li>Bilingual in Spanish preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>This position is located at approximately 8,000 feet elevation; candidates must be physically healthy enough to safely function in a low-oxygen, high-altitude environment</li><li>No RTO (time off requests) will be accepted for this assignment</li><li>Housing is the responsibility of the traveler; the area is known for very high housing costs, with 1BR apartments in nearby Basalt averaging approximately $3,500/month — nearby towns such as Carbondale and Glenwood Springs may offer more affordable alternatives</li><li>DOB and SSN may be required for consideration</li></ul>
