<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 1, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 3 years of OT experience for a Monday–Friday, day shift position covering Racine and Kenosha Counties in Wisconsin.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Home health setting serving adult patients across Racine and Kenosha Counties in WI</li><li>Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, approximately 7:45 AM–4:00 PM</li><li>Caseload of 6 patients/points per day — evaluation visits count as 1.5 points, standard visits count as 1 point</li><li>Patient population is strictly adult home health, including geriatric, post-stroke, post-joint replacement, weakness/deconditioning, COPD, and CHF cases</li><li>Most patient visits are within 20–30 minutes of each other; occasional visits may be up to approximately one hour away</li><li>EMR: Epic (experience preferred)</li><li>No weekend rotation, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active WI OT license required if applicable</li><li>Current BLS certification required</li><li>Minimum 3 years of OT experience in SNF, home health, or acute care; home health experience preferred</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy accepted</li><li>Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and active auto insurance required</li><li>General OT treatment and evaluation skills with a focus on ADLs and adaptive equipment</li><li>Epic EMR experience preferred</li><li>Minimum 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year</li><li>Candidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers are welcome to apply</li><li>Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible</li><li>Local candidates are accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions apply</li><li>Orientation begins at the National Avenue office in Milwaukee, includes an Epic training class, and is followed by a full week with a preceptor</li><li>Daily morning team huddles conducted via phone with the interdisciplinary team</li><li>Works alongside an interdisciplinary team including RNs and PTs, supported by an RN supervisor, PT lead, PT manager, and other OTs</li><li>Dress code is business casual or any color scrubs</li><li>Manager interview required prior to any offer being extended</li><li>RTO requests must be approved by the manager</li></ul>
