<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 8, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift role requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT R/CT certification.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in a hospital setting covering both X-ray and CT for ED and inpatient populations</li><li>Two techs staffed per shift covering CT and X-ray duties, including patient transport to/from the ED</li><li>Facility is a Primary Stroke Center</li><li>Off-site radiologists available for consultation via secure paging system</li><li>Uses Epic Radiant for radiology imaging and documentation</li><li>Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM</li><li>Required to float to X-ray as needed</li><li>Hunter Green scrub color required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered CT and X-ray technologist</li><li>ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>SC Radiology license required if applicable</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required</li><li>Trauma Level I and/or Level II experience preferred</li><li>Teaching hospital experience preferred</li><li>Skilled in abdomen and pelvis imaging, including studies with and without contrast</li><li>Experience with head and neck imaging, including trauma head and carotid studies</li><li>Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging, including trauma cases</li><li>Experience with chest imaging, including vascular chest studies (PE, CTA, aorta)</li><li>Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration</li><li>Skilled in radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE</li><li>Ability to start peripheral IVs preferred</li><li>Experience with GE and/or Siemens equipment preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers will be considered based on experience</li><li>May float to other qualified units or campuses based on facility census needs</li><li>Perform imaging for both emergency department and inpatient populations</li><li>Coordinate with off-site radiologists for real-time consultation during scans</li><li>Complete annual compliance orientation and required training modules prior to starting the assignment</li></ul>
