Responsibilities
Frisco Main Street is looking for an orthopedic physical therapist to join our engaging and team oriented group. Manual skills are preferred as well as an ability to treat a caseload of 50-60 patients per week. Case load tends to include: post operative joints, athletes post surgery, weekend warriors, and spine.
<ul>
 <li>Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment</li>
 <li>Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day</li>
 <li>Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source</li>
 <li>Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports</li>
 <li>Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately</li>
 <li>Promoting continuous quality improvement</li>
 <li>Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
 <li>Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.</li>
 <li>Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.</li>

Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
