<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 5x8hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a 13-week travel contract in Waco, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience with C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Imaging/X-Ray department in a hospital setting serving ambulatory and inpatient populations</li><li>Patient population spans all age groups: newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric</li><li>Procedures include C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging; O-arm experience is a plus</li><li>5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM</li><li>On-call may be required</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in radiology with proficiency in C-arm, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging</li><li>Active ARRT (R) certification required</li><li>Active TX MRT license required if applicable</li><li>BLS certification required (AHA only)</li><li>2 professional references required for consideration</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Perform high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol, including positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and setting exposure factors</li><li>Responsible for radiation dose monitoring and adherence to dose reference level protocols</li><li>Maintain accurate medical imaging records and relevant patient documentation in accordance with department standards</li><li>Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards; assist with supplies inventory</li><li>Flu vaccination is mandatory with no exemptions; typically required between August and November</li><li>Solid-color scrubs required; no printed patterns</li><li>Candidates who have previously worked as a permanent employee at this facility system should inquire about eligibility prior to applying</li></ul>
