This place is insane! More than half the staff is travelers. Leadership changes constantly. No communication at all. The morale committee is run by travel staff. It’s that bad.

They lie about everything and will change your schedule without notice and give you a choice to take it or leave. Verbally abused using “F” word. Suppose to be level 1 but so far from operating at level 1 compared to the rest of the world. The place is toxic and every way. It’s the reason I started traveling so I would t have to deal with this stuff. Will never go back

<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Oct 12, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring Level II Trauma experience and at least one prior travel contract.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Observation unit caring for chest pain rule-out patients, supporting the ED during high census periods</li><li>Cardiac and telemetry patient population</li><li>1:5 patient ratio</li><li>Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM</li><li>No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon at time of offer</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active RN license (Montana or compact) currently in hand</li><li>BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years of RN experience required</li><li>Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred</li><li>At least one prior travel contract required, no first-time travelers accepted</li><li>Cerner charting experience preferred</li><li>Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred</li><li>Previous charge nurse experience preferred</li><li>References required for consideration</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Care for cardiac and observation patients including chest pain rule-outs and telemetry monitoring</li><li>Skills in IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and PICC line management</li><li>Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drip management (titration preferred) and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias</li><li>Familiarity with rapid response and code team protocols</li><li>Must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted</li><li>Prior perm employees must have a 2-year break in service before being considered</li><li>Candidates with license or background check hits may be considered on a case-by-case basis</li></ul>
