Honestly you not gone get teamwork and a friendly environment unless you float to the rehab unit and that’s very rare. Every thing is hectic. 7-8 patients. With patients coding and rapids at 5am!

Many nurses here hate their job and it makes it hard to come to work in this environment. If you get floated, you will be tripled in ICU with the patients no one else wants while the charge nurse has 1 or no patients and finds other things to do when you ask for help turning, etc.

Management here will understaff purposely to maintain a high productivity percentage. Moldy building, lots of flooding and asbestos in the ceilings.

Toxic work environment. Consistently told we are replaceable as travelers and not treated as part of the team. Very unwelcoming and lots of drama. Stayed quiet and minded my business as long as possible.

Worked 10 years nothing to show for it! Plus they don’t train correctly! Most of all they are Union and only paid me barley even 20 hr! I have 29 years experience sad it took me 10 years to even make that! Buddy system also!

Very unsafe for patients and was degraded by the director every huddle, staff was not supported or heard of their concerns.
