      <p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in a Level II Trauma acute care setting requiring active IL RN licensure and ICU trauma experience.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a 16-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) serving a variety of medical, surgical, trauma, and neuro patients</li><li>Setting is an acute care hospital with Level II Trauma designation</li><li>Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2</li><li>12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week starting at 7</li><li>Every other weekend coverage required (Saturday and Sunday)</li><li>Participate in holiday rotation with core staff</li><li>Floating may occur, primarily as a 'help all' to PCU or CVICU</li><li>Allscripts EMR system is used</li><li>Unit performs advanced ICU procedures including CRRT (prismaflex), TTM (Arctic Sun), mass transfusions, bedside procedures, and requires titration of common ICU drips</li><li>RNs care for a diverse patient population including trauma, neuro, post-surgical, and critically ill medical patients</li><li>Charge nurse or house supervisor available with supportive nursing aides present</li><li>24/7 intensivist, hospitalist, and respiratory therapy coverage</li><li>Nurses manage advanced respiratory devices including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP</li><li>Orientation includes a 12–14 hour shift with competencies and unit training</li><li>Scrub color is black</li><li>First day includes general facility orientation and computer modules</li></ul>
