We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience supporting cardiac catheterization procedures in an acute care hospital setting. <h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 4x10hrs</li><li>Hours: 40 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Nov 2, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with IR experience and at least 1 year of Epic EMR experience for a cardiac catheterization lab role.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Cardiac Cath Lab setting including diagnostic and interventional procedures</li><li>Patient population includes heart catheterization patients such as right heart caths, pacemaker insertions, and low-risk PCI</li><li>Uses Omnicell medication system and Epic EMR for documentation</li><li>Special equipment includes Teleflex IABP, Impella, and Boston Scientific IVUS</li><li>Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week</li><li>Call required every 3rd weekend with 1-2 call days during the week in between</li><li>Weekend coverage required approximately every 3rd weekend, subject to change based on need</li><li>May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech with IR experience</li><li>BLS and ACLS certification required</li><li>ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification required (license required if applicable)</li><li>Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required</li><li>Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, cardiac stent placement, IABP and Impella placement/removal</li><li>Experience with interventional radiology and special procedures including vascular studies, angioplasty, carotid stenting, central venous access, and dialysis graft procedures</li><li>Experience with genitourinary studies including nephrostomy and renal angiography/stent placement</li><li>Experience with electrophysiology studies and pacemaker insertion preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, IR and special procedures, and EP studies including pacemaker insertions</li><li>First-time travelers will be considered based on experience</li><li>Orientation occurs every Monday, with annual compliance requirements</li><li>Pre-assignment testing and compliance modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials</li><li>Travelers must maintain a minimum distance from area facilities to qualify for travel eligibility and full pay rate</li></ul>
