The nurse works under the direction of the team's medical director, utilizing patient care protocols and transport policies to deliver optimal, evidence-based care in the mobile environment.<br/><br/><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Total clinical nursing care of stable and unstable critically ill children during transportation – both ground and air transports.</li><li>Communicating coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members from sending and receiving facilities.</li><li>36hrs; rotating days/nights and every third weekend.</li></ul><br/><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br/>Education:</strong><ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.</li></ul><br/><strong>Experience:</strong><ul><li>A minimum 3 years ICU or ED experience is required</li><li>EMT experience preferred.</li></ul><br/><strong>Licensure/ Certifications:</strong><ul><li>Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)</li><li>PALS/NRP/ACLS/EMT certification required within first year of employment and CCRN certification required within 2 years of employment.</li></ul><br/><strong>*This position is eligible for a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus (not eligible for internal candidates and not eligible for former BCH employees who worked here in the past 2years).</strong></div><div class="jd-payStatement" data-field="payStatement"><p>The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.</p><p>Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
