Worked there during Covid. The work environment was great. Safe nurse to patient ratio. Would recommend it to anyone

Ultrasound Technologist

Ratio at this facility is 1:3. PCA’s are not very helpful, and if you are not on top of it vitals and blood sugars will not get done. You will float mid shift everyday if they need you to, but each unit I’ve been has been amazing. So, it’s not a bad float overall. But, otherwise this facility is very traveler friendly.

Excellent Ratios

OR is super busy. Love the pods concept. Room turn overs are quick. Lots of changes going on so some days are weird. Travelers don’t attend the Thursday meetings and scheduled to work 9-9p or 11-11p. Always show up at the desk when reporting for work.

CVICU

Brigham became one of my favorite assignments. The staff there was pretty welcoming and willing to teach (as long as you were willing to learn). 
The patient load is busy but you'll always have someone to help. 
They have ceiling lifts/hoyer lifts in every CT room. 
All the protocols are pretty straight forward and they have a SOP for any unusual scans. 
I highly recommend this assignment if you have a background with Siemens scanners.
