Radiation therapist for 3 month assignment. The staff and facility are great. Traffic in the area is horrible. Rent in the area requires much higher compensation.

First contract great. The extension not so much. A couple of tech became extremely rude/disgruntled and made it difficult for me to get a room to do patients. I know there is ways one, but as long as I stayed away from them, it was good. The rest of the staff remained great!

<ul><li>Organize, recruit, and draw blood donors through a program designed to meet hospital needs.</li><li>Ensure satisfaction of all users of the department's services according to customer service standards.</li><li>Perform donor screening to ensure eligibility per standard guidelines.</li><li>Conduct all aspects of whole blood collections and therapeutic phlebotomy procedures.</li><li>Carry out whole blood collections at offsite blood drives and in donor center.</li><li>Prepare and label blood components and samples for testing.</li><li>Accurately document all blood donor records and data entry, including donor deferrals, ensuring all quality control standards are met.</li><li>Assist with donor recruitment.</li><li>Manage daily inventory and replenishment of all donor care supplies, sending order lists to the supervisor or designee.</li><li>Obtain appropriate blood specimens from donors and patients.</li><li>Maintain work areas in a clean and sanitary condition for the safety of patients, guests, and staff.</li><li>Maintain thorough knowledge of departmental and hospital policies and procedures, including fire and disaster plans.</li><li>Consistently provide service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers, and co-workers.</li><li>Perform other work-related duties and activities as assigned or requested.</li></ul>
<h3>Education/Experience/Training</h3>
<ul><li>Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li><li>Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and under pressure.</li><li>Prior phlebotomy experience required.</li><li>National Certification or completion of an accredited phlebotomy program preferred.</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.</li><li>Proficiency in using computers/laptops.</li></ul>
