Being the only hospital of its size within an hour drive, CFV has no competition and treats its staff as such. Several managers are micromanaging egomaniacs that are more concerned about themselves than patients or staff. Managers ignore suggestions of staff and devalue anyone with experience as if they are a threat. Travelers are seen as outsiders by managers. Staff is very appreciative of travelers and attempts to learn what they can from them.

Hospice Palliative Care RN

Not a good place to work. FT team members are very hostile towards travelers. Petty and very cliquey. No one to help you even when you're drowning. Management is not very approachable. Providers do not communicate or respect the employees at all. Unless they're paying a lot, I wouldn't recommend anyone going there. That hospital is always short staffed and hiring so that should already say a lot.
