• 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience required 
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Two professional references from supervisory capacity completed within two years required 
• First time travelers not accepted 
• Block scheduling may be discussed during interview 
• Travel pairs not considered for PCU positions

 American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift role requiring a compact or NC RN license and two years of PCU/Stepdown experience.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a healthcare facility</li><li>Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with three 12-hour shifts per week</li><li>Every third weekend is required</li><li>No on-call responsibilities</li><li>Floating required within the hospital as needed and within scope</li><li>Uses Meditech EMR system</li><li>Will not consider travel pairs for PCU and CCU units</li><li>Block scheduling may be discussed during the interview</li><li>Return staff must be gone for at least one year and in good standing, and may not be local</li><li>Medical or religious exemption for COVID vaccination must be requested within 72 hours of acceptance using the facility form</li></ul>
