      <p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an inpatient rehab unit night shift, requiring a WV or compact RN license and BLS certification.</p>
      
            <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
            <ul><li>Work in a 24-bed acute inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting</li><li>Patient population includes individuals with SCI, TBI, stroke, amputation, neuromuscular disorders, severe deconditioning, and neurological diseases</li><li>Night shift position (3x12 hours, 7p-7a), including every other weekend</li><li>Patient ratios: Nights 1:5/6; Days 1:4/5</li><li>Floating may be required within RN scope</li><li>Care teams include a physiatrist, NP, nurses, therapists, and social workers, collaborating on individualized plans</li><li>Uses Cerner for electronic charting</li><li>Block scheduling may be accommodated upon discussion in the interview</li><li>Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient-specific rehab plans</li><li>Therapy is provided to patients for 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday</li><li>Typical length of stay is approximately 2 weeks</li><li>No call responsibilities are required</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted</li><li>Free parking is available in the parking garage for travelers</li><li>Royal blue and/or white scrubs are required</li><li>Orientation is offered every other week on Thursday</li><li>Block schedule requests and RTO are considered if discussed during the interview</li><li>Applicants must live at least 100 miles from the facility (75–99 miles may be considered for approval)</li><li>Former permanent employees must wait 2 years after their last day of work before returning as a traveler</li></ul>

            <ul><li>Inpatient rehab unit with 24 beds in a hospital setting</li><li>Patient population includes cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputees, spinal cord injuries, deconditioning, and neurological diseases</li><li>Typical length of stay is around 2 weeks</li><li>Interdisciplinary care team assigned to each patient including physiatrist, NP, therapists, RN, and social worker</li><li>Therapy provided 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday</li><li>Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (7pm to 7am) with every other weekend required</li><li>Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6 on nights</li><li>Floating may be required within nursing scope</li><li>Cerner charting system used; prior experience preferred</li><li>Orientation held every other week on Thursday</li><li>Provide comprehensive rehabilitation nursing care alongside an interdisciplinary team</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted for this position</li><li>Block scheduling may be accommodated and can be discussed in the interview</li><li>No call requirements for this role</li><li>No restrictions on requested time off, but requests must be included with application and discussed in interview</li><li>Royal blue/white scrubs required</li><li>Parking is free for travelers in the parking garage</li><li>Perm employees must be separated from the facility for at least 2 years before returning as a traveler</li><li>Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility (75-99 miles may be approved on a case-by-case basis)</li></ul>
