Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with call requirements 
• Float/cover multiple areas including CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department 
• Operate GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners 
• Work with EPIC EMR system and McKesson PACS 
• Required certifications: ARRT-CT and BLS 
• Must have X-ray or CT experience preferred 
• Perform varied types of imaging studies and procedures 
• Weekend and holiday requirements as scheduled 
• Call and standby responsibilities with varied response times 
• 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided 
• Must be flexible, positive, and willing to learn and work 
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination 
• Radiation badge provided by facility 
• Driver's license required at submittal 
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities

 American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift hospital-based assignment requiring ARRT (CT) certification, BLS, and proficiency with GE CT scanners.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Position is in an acute care hospital setting on the CT/X-ray team</li><li>Department features 4 CT rooms equipped with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice scanners</li><li>Must be able to float and cover CT, X-ray, OR, Endo, and ED as needed</li><li>Common types of imaging studies performed are varied across modalities</li><li>EMR used is Epic and PACS is McKesson</li><li>Night shifts are 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including call shifts</li><li>Weekend and holiday coverage required</li><li>Supervisor determines the work schedule; self-scheduling is not available</li><li>Responsibilities include performing various CT and X-ray studies, including coverage in OR, Endo, and ED as required</li><li>Orientation consists of 1-2 department-specific shifts</li><li>Department values candidates who are flexible, positive, and eager to learn</li><li>Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas</li><li>Radiation badge is provided by the client</li><li>Only candidates whose permanent residence is at least 50 miles from the facility, verified by driver's license, are eligible</li><li>Up to 7 days of requested time off during the contract must be submitted up front; no additional time off will be approved</li></ul>
