The employees were amazing, very travel friendly. You must discuss schedule ahead of time because I barely had weekends off and I signed a contract for 4 days a week guaranteed and my last 2 weeks I was called off and floated. I was there for 2 contracts and it wasn't until I did not renew my contract that my hours were cut and my Medical Solutions Recruiter never answered her phone. Over all pay was reasonable but the managers were not.

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

<p>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient cases in the Intensive Care Unit.</p>

<h2>Job Details</h2>

    <li><strong>Shift:</strong> Nights</li>
    <li><strong>Unit Type:</strong> ICU (Intensive Care Unit)</li>
    <li><strong>Shift Length:</strong> 12 hours</li>
    <li><strong>Guaranteed Hours:</strong> 36 hours per week</li>
    <li><strong>Experience Required:</strong> 2+ years of ICU experience</li>
</ul>

<h2>Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.</li>
    <li>Experience in CPRT and IABP training preferred but not required.</li>
    <li>Proficiency in managing patients with diagnoses such as CHF, DKA, Respiratory Failure, Metabolic Acidosis, Renal Failure, and Encephalopathy.</li>
    <li>Capability to titrate drips, including but not limited to cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Clinical Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.</li>
    <li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including NP and MD, for patient management.</li>
    <li>Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.</li>
    <li>Troubleshoot respiratory equipment including vents, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen devices; RT is available 24/7 for support.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Nursing Support</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Charge Nurse is assigned on each shift without a patient assignment.</li>
    <li>Nurse Aids/Patient Care Techs may be available depending on unit census.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Scheduling</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Self-scheduling options available.</li>
    <li>Weekend requirements: 6 shifts in a 6-week period.</li>
    <li>Holiday requirements: 1 major and 1 minor for spring and fall.</li>
</ul>

<h2>Orientation</h2>
<ul>
    <li>Unit/department-specific orientation consists of 2 shifts.</li>
</ul>
