<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Rotating, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jul 20, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring CAH experience and the ability to float to Med/Surg.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)</li><li>Labor &amp; Delivery unit with floating responsibilities to Med/Surg (MS)</li><li>Low-volume L&amp;D unit delivering approximately 12–15 births per month (roughly 150 per year)</li><li>Patient population includes OB patients 36+ weeks gestation, pre-eclampsia, and multiples; higher-risk or under-36-week patients are transferred out</li><li>12-hour shifts; rotating Day/Night or straight nights available — no straight days</li><li>Every other weekend (EOW) or every third weekend required</li><li>Rotating schedule is approximately 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights</li><li>Epic EMR; experience required</li><li>Cardiac monitoring with Nihon Kohden equipment; fetal monitoring with Philips Fetal Heart Monitors</li><li>13-week contract</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active MN RN license required</li><li>Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)</li><li>Minimum 2 years of RN experience required</li><li>CAH experience required</li><li>Experience in both OB/L&amp;D and Med/Surg required; must be comfortable floating between both disciplines</li><li>Epic EMR experience required</li><li>BSN not required</li><li>Must have a current MN NetStudy fingerprint clearance or the ability to complete fingerprinting promptly</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Candidate must be comfortable practicing in both L&amp;D and Med/Surg environments, as floating between units is expected</li><li>MN NetStudy fingerprint requirements must be understood and fulfilled prior to starting</li><li>Orientation is 12 hours</li></ul>
