CVICU saw sick sick patients and we gave good care and we generally had the resources we needed, but I did not vibe with the ex-cheerleader mean-girl personalities that ruled the unit.  If I took their cr*p I was a seen as pushover, but if I stood up for myself I was seen as  unteachable and unable to take feedback.  I hear CVICU can be a magnet for this kind of thing.
