I have been working here for the better part of a year now. The management is top notch. The staff are friendly and very helpful to the travelers. While not every day is a good day, most of them are. Just last night I got a thank you message from the charge nurse. That isn’t something you normally see. Especially to a traveler. I would highly recommend this hospital. The only problem might be getting a job. Most of their travelers keep coming back.

One of the new Indian charge nurse is prejudice and always have this yelling smart ass attitude and instead of assist or being there to assist, she there to ridicule like for example she would say, “aren’t you a Tele nurse, you should not need help!” None of the others were like her. She was belittling me. I think because she thinks I’m Hispanic though I’m not. She was my nightmare there.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for Speech Language Pathologists to join us! In your role, you will work alongside a multifaceted team, comprised of seasoned Therapists, mid-career clinicians, and recent graduates. We have a variety of settings within our health system to meet your unique career goals! This includes our Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Burn Center, Inpatient Rehab, Post Acute Rehab, Outpatient Rehab, or Home Health.In your role, you will use your expertise to educate the patient and/or the caregiver about the findings of the examination, evaluation, established goals of the speech-language pathology program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention, and more! You should be an effective communicator willing to collaborate with other members of the care team. 

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required</li><li>2 years of experience required</li><li>SLP - State of California Speech Language Pathologist License required</li><li>BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required</li><li>Incumbents who obtained a California Speech Language Pathologist License prior to 1993 will be grandfathered in with their existing education.</li></ul>
