<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Days, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: May 11, 2026</li><li>Length: 12 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including required Hybrid OR vascular experience, for a 12-week day shift contract.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting</li><li>May float within scope of practice to another nearby facility as needed</li><li>Procedures include angioplasty, carotid stenting, EVAR, TEVAR, TIPS, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, dialysis graft creation/revision, fistulograms/declots, central venous access/port placement, and upper and lower extremity angiography</li><li>Work settings include a Hybrid OR and Interventional Radiology suite</li><li>Equipment used includes fluoroscopy, Philips imaging systems, PACS, and ultrasound (preferred)</li><li>Vascular closure systems utilized include Perclose and StarClose</li><li>Epic EMR — experience required</li><li>3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM</li><li>Call requirement of 15 days per month, including weekends</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of IR or vascular experience required</li><li>Hybrid OR vascular experience is a hard requirement</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>GA or Compact state license required — license required if applicable</li><li>Copies of all certifications listed in the position description required for consideration</li><li>Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration</li><li>Proficiency in scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field</li><li>Experience with vascular closure systems, endovascular interventions, and vascular studies/procedures</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>First-time travelers will be considered, provided they have Hybrid OR vascular experience</li><li>Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for a full year from all associated network facilities before being eligible to return as a traveler</li><li>RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment</li><li>If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them and no holiday RTO may be requested</li><li>If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them and one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval</li><li>Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day</li><li>Local candidates are accepted for this position</li><li>The posted shift is firm — no alternate shifts or schedule change requests are permitted</li><li>Candidates undergo a clinical screening review prior to manager consideration</li></ul>
