<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Jun 15, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor &amp; Delivery night shift position at a Level 3 Perinatal Center in Fort Wayne, IN, requiring at least 3 years of high-acuity L&amp;D experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in a 15-bed Labor &amp; Delivery unit at a Level 3 Perinatal Center averaging 250+ deliveries per month</li><li>Patient population includes obstetrical patients presenting for PPROM, SROM, rule-out labor, IOL, Cesarean delivery, pre-eclampsia, antepartum concerns, and more</li><li>1:1 patient ratio</li><li>Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM</li><li>13-week contract</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>No floating required</li><li>Block scheduling is available</li><li>EMR: Cerner</li><li>Hospital-issued scrubs provided</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active IN RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand</li><li>Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E.</li><li>All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date</li><li>Minimum 3 years of L&amp;D experience required, preferably in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting</li><li>Cerner EMR experience preferred</li><li>Valid driver's license required</li><li>US Social Security Number required</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide bedside RN care to obstetrical patients across a wide range of labor and delivery needs in a high-volume, high-acuity environment</li><li>Orientation consists of 2 shifts</li><li>Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position</li><li>RTO is capped at 36 hours for the contract duration, and individual RTO requests must be less than one week</li><li>No RTO blackout dates or required holiday coverage</li><li>Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible</li><li>No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months</li></ul>
