As a Nurse Manager you will be responsible for supervision of nursing staff, the nursing care provided, and related administrative and professional nursing activities. The Nurse Manager is available to offer direct and indirect clinical support, coordinate or intervene in medical/psychiatric emergencies, and complex clinical issues. Acts as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff. Monitors care of patients and reports clinical information to the team.

Eagleville Hospital is located in northern Montgomery County, Pennsylvania on a suburban campus just minutes from Valley Forge National Park and just off the Collegeville and Oaks exits of Route 422. Eagleville Hospital is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the treatment, educations, and prevention of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. The hospital serves as a regional resource for the treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as a national resource for training and research for addiction and related conditions.

Requirements:

Candidates for the Nurse Manager position must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current and valid Pennsylvania State Nursing License (RN). Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred. Experience in co-occurring disorders and addiction required. Must have ability to communicate well, both orally and written, leadership skills, ability to organize and facilitate patient care in any inpatient unit within the hospital, training in group dynamics and group therapy, physical and psychological assessment skills, and ability to work within a team structure.

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for Evening Shift. You will be responsible for providing all basic nursing care to our patients. Shift Hours: 2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. Required to work every other weekend and two additional shifts per pay as assigned.

You must:

* Be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing


* Have a current and valid Pennsylvania State RN License


* Have a current certification in CPR/BLS


* One-year med-surg. desired


* Experience in a psychiatric setting and/or drug/alcohol facility preferred


* Must have the ability to work 8 hr shifts, every other weekend and three holidays annually



.Physical Requirements

Occasional heavy lifting to assist in moving patients (approx. 100-350 lbs.).

Medium lifting of a minimum of 25-75 lbs. required on a regular basis to assist with

transporting items; e.g., patient belongings, supplies and equipment. Extensive walking and standing while performing duties required; ability to push wheelchair to transport patients on campus; ability to climb at least three flights of stairs; good oral and written communication skills.

Work Environment

Staff various units and shifts as needed. Work every other weekend and holidays as assigned. Possible exposure to infectious diseases, required to respond to psychiatric and medical emergencies.
