This was my first assignment and I was verbally and then physically attacked by one of my co workers. I was bullied as a woman of color by the co worker and nothing was done about it . Eventually it led to a physical assault and I quit. I have not returned to Indiana since. They need to be retrained on bullying and racism in the work place .

 American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Surg night shift position requiring BLS and NIHSS certifications and a minimum of one year recent experience.
 
 <h2>Responsibilities</h2>
 <ul><li>Work in a hospital-based Medical Surgical - Neuro unit</li><li>Treats stroke, AMS, and standard medical patients</li><li>Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 (3x12 hours)</li><li>Required to work every other weekend</li><li>No call responsibilities</li><li>Floating to other units may be required</li><li>Staff-to-patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:6</li><li>Uses Cerner charting system</li><li>Two additional 'level-loading' shifts required per 6-week schedule period, with flexibility to choose weeks</li><li>Provide nursing care to patients with neurological and medical conditions, including stroke and altered mental status</li><li>One holiday shift per contract required</li><li>Royal blue scrubs required</li><li>Local candidates are not accepted</li></ul>
 
 <h2>Requirements</h2>
 <ul><li>Active IN or compact RN license required</li><li>Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required</li><li>Minimum one year of Med/Surg or Neuro RN experience required</li><li>Must live at least 50 miles from the facility</li><li>First-time travelers are accepted</li></ul>
