The people who work here will be in my heart forever. The facility can be wild sometimes. But I think that can be anywhere place you work. I would return if the option presented itself.

Evergreen health in Kirkland Washington was an amazing hospital to work at. I worked in surgery and was welcomed immediately. Felt like part of the family. I was going through some hard times since I was caring for my elderly parents while traveling and they were amazing there. I received frequent hugs. I felt like part of the family and had a hard time saying goodbye. I would have stayed longer but personal situations didn’t allow that this time. I will definitely go back when my situation changes and allows that. Washington is such a beautiful state.

Depending on which floor you will get floated  (or assign) to, the staff are either nice or has personality. Either way, it was alright.

Med Surg / Telemetry

Nurse culture is the worst I’ve seen out of every hospital I’ve worked at. Travelers aren’t treated well. And neither are the new to specialty or new RNs. But they have the most staff, staff to awhonn, have a ton of unnecessary roles. And you get breaks. Rely on other travelers to get by. Equipment is nice, wireless monitors, pandas in every room.

Maternal - Newborn

The Manager in the ICU shows favoritism. She shares your personal information with other nurses that she likes. The Manager and assistant manager are hardly every there, or "working from home" And while I was there I rarely saw the assistant manager on the floor, never knew when she left, rarely saw her on the floor. And dont talk to her if a Hocky game is on, she will be busy in her office with that. 
The culture is cold and they have their groups
